We’re looking for Irrigation/Landscape Technicians to join our small and growing passionate team whose motto is Changing Lives with Gardens.

About the role

As our Irrigation/Landscape technicians you will be responsible for working together with our Director William Crabb and the Plant-EM crew to deliver high quality residential landscape projects including full garden restorations, irrigation installation, repairs and garden care.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Garden demolition
  • Garden construction
  • Equipment/subcontractor supervision
  • Edging/retaining wall construction
  • Paving/stone paths and areas
  • Lawn removal and planting
  • Plant selection and planting for the Dry Tropics
  • Mulching and garden care
  • Sustainable water efficient irrigation installation
  • Stormwater drainage installation
  • Water feature construction
  • Task/job/project management
  • Team supervision
  • Opportunity for Personal development

About you

The right candidate will:

  • Have a passion for Gardening, Landscaping, DIY projects and Home improvements.
  • Ideally have extensive experience in Irrigation/landscaping or another relevant trade.
  • Be able to communicate well with others, written and verbal.
  • Have a positive, can do mind set with a willingness to get it done.
  • Enjoy physical work and in the outdoors.
  • Be comfortable working within a team or independently.

Qualifications

Cert III in Irrigation and or Cert III in Landscape construction is desirable.

Selection Criteria

  • Proven experience in irrigation or landscaping.
  • Car Licence and above.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Motivated to support the needs of the business to change peoples lives.
