Plant-EM is a Landscape Specialist which aims to enhance our clients’ lives through the work we do in their gardens. Our team motto is ‘Changing Lives with Gardens’.
Working together, supporting each other and ultimately achieving the best results for our clients are the cornerstones of all Plant-EM projects.
Plant-EM was founded by William Crabb in Townsville in 2008 and has since grown from an irrigation and turf supply business to now, a Landscape Specialist company that offers full professional landscape services and renowned personalised service.

William’s Why
Almost everybody has at least one passion in life, for William Crabb, founder and Director of Plant-EM, there are two: gardens & helping people.
William was born in Townsville, grew up here and has raised a family with his wife Donna.
His love for gardens started with farming and growing turf and has blossomed into how Plant-EM’s gardens and lawns have such a positive impact on the lives of the people we do business with.
His passion for helping people is something he says is just part of his nature and through Plant-EM he is able to spend his days working at both.
William truly believes a garden can impact a person’s life without them even realising it and says making sure outside your home compliments and enhances your lifestyle can make you feel happier and healthier.
William is passionate about helping his employees as well and ensures they receive support, encouragement, freedom and respect to learn and grow on the job.
He believes if all landscape employers worked in this way the standard of the industry as a whole will be improved.
William is also an advocate for sustainable garden solutions, particularly watering practices, to ensure our gardens complement our natural environment – not harm it.
He’s a true believer that doing the job right from the start saves time, effort and money for his clients for years to come.
