Plant-EM garden testimonial – Paul & Sandra

Paul’s Plant-EM garden story shows that, big or small, your garden can have a huge impact on how you live in and enjoy your home.

From what was a plain and “terrible” area, Paul says he and his wife can now sit and enjoy their cuppa in a space that looks good, but ever better, it feels great.

And they look forward to spending time together ‘pottering’ in their new garden.

Q&A – Paul’s Plant-EM garden experience

Q What works did you engage Plant-EM to carryout?

A Basically we had nothing, other than the lawn and very ugly fence so we wanted to do something with that.

We’ve got our patio here which directly faces out to this area so we often sit out here of a morning, have a cup of tea and read the paper of a weekend, and it was just terrible, there was nothing to look at.

Q Are you happy with your new Plant-EM garden?

A When you’re engaging somebody to do work for you, such as landscaping, you’re always a bit concerned about the quality of work and what it’s going to be like.

We came up with an idea, sort of similar to what we have now and we called William. He came around and we discussed our ideas and Will gave us some ideas as well and…this is what we’ve got and it’s fantastic.

Q How will this project change how you use this space?

A It’s great to be able to sit out here and look at something nice, well it looks nice now but eventually the idea is for these plants to get up to a nice height of maybe two – two and a half metres which we can keep hedged, with lots of red flowers, Yeah we’re looking forward to it.

Q Having worked with Plant-EM, what are your thoughts on their business motto Changing Lives with Gardens?

A I think it’s a great motto. I guess it’s a motto that you wouldn’t expect for for someone doing this type of work.

I think it’s great and it works for this sort of project, particularly for Sandra and I who want something to enjoy looking at and toiling with and planting our vegetables and trimming the hedges and so on. I think it’s a very appropriate motto.
